Does NordVPN work with Omegle? [3 Tests]

Using a VPN with Omegle is always something uncertain. Today we're going to test NordVPN live to see if it works with Omegle.

Some people are banned from Omegle and may resort to a VPN to mask their identity and be able to use Omegle again. I've done a full article on this called "How to Get Unbanned from Omegle".

Very few VPNs allow you to unblock Omegle, as the VPN servers are often already known to Omegle and blacklisted. I made 3 attempts to use NordVPN with Omegle:

Test #1:

For this first trial, we're going to connect to a random NordVPN server located in the United States. After logging in, we went to the Omegle site to launch the video chat. We got an error message saying we'd been banned (although without a VPN it works for me).

So, for this test, NordVPN doesn't work with Omegle. We have an error message saying "Banned - You have been banned from Omegle due to possible terms of service violations by you, or someone else using your computer or network.".

Test #2:

This time, we connect to a specific server in the United States, located in New York. Once again, after going to the Omegle site to launch the video chat, we get the same error message.

For test number 2, NordVPN still doesn't work with Omegle.

Test #3:

In this trial, we decided to change our country of location. We used NordVPN to connect to Canada. Despite this change, we got the same error message saying we were banned. For this test, we even used a different browser from the two previous ones.

Verdict

NordVPN doesn't work with Omegle, so don't waste your time and money trying it to unblock Omegle. You can try ExpressVPN, which works much better and without error messages. You can even ask support which VPN server works with Omegle.
